The Village to Village Network helps support community approaches to aging all across the United States and beyond. Villages do some really terrific work, coordinating affordable access to aging adults for services such as transportation, inspiring health and wellness programs, home repairs, and social and educational activities and trips. They also provide access to other day-to-day needs enabling individuals to remain connected to their community throughout the aging process. The Villages are run by a combination of volunteers and paid staff – and Sterling Volunteers has now been named the recommended volunteer screening provider for the hundreds of Villages currently operating and/or in development.Read More

The World Meeting of Families 2015 – Philadelphia is fast approaching.
Pope Francis will be making his inaugural visit to the United States September 26-27, 2015. World Meeting of Families, the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families and host of the Pope’s visit, is relying on thousands of volunteers to make the Papal visit a success. Of course, the Pope’s safety is a top priority, which is why Sterling Volunteers was chosen to be the official background screening partner for this event.
