November is an important month for nonprofit organizations. Besides being the lead up month to the busiest time of the year for charities, it’s also home to Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving – both of which inspire citizens to spend more time volunteering. As volunteer hours increase and we continue our march towards the new year, it’s a good time for nonprofit groups to formalize efforts to attract new volunteers, to deliver a terrific volunteer experience, and to focus on remaining engaged  with volunteers in order to increase retention rates.

Sterling Volunteers Brings Fast-Pass to the CASA Network

Last month, we announced our partnership with CVNL (Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership). We are happy to announce that Sterling Volunteers has entered into another partnership, this time with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children. Each and every day, more than 1,900 children become victims of abuse or neglect, and four of them lose their lives. CASA helps support citizen-volunteers in their quest to become significant advocates for neglected children through court proceedings and foster care programs.
